Our Religious View on Liposuction
The topic of cosmetic surgery came up at the dinner table this past weekend. We talked particularly about liposuction and how it has become the new hot procedure for those looking to shed some fat without putting in the work. When this topic first came up, my initial reaction was why would anybody want to get surgery just to lose weight? God created us as unique individuals that are different and special in our own way. We are God’s creation and there should be no reason to change his creation. My initial reaction to liposuction is that not only is it against the views of God, but the pain of going through surgery makes very little sense to me. That is when my friend educated me with the discovery of non surgical liposuction. Non surgical liposuction is a non invasive procedure that provides the same benefits of liposuction surgery, but without the traditional cut and vacuum procedure.
This raised a discussion of whether non surgical liposuction is morally and religiously acceptable if there is no knife and blood involved. In my quest to discover more about this procedure, I did my research on non surgical liposuction Toronto to educate myself on possible options in the Toronto area. To my surprise, non surgical liposuction has many different options in terms of procedure; but all of them still involve a procedure where a needle is placed within the stomach. Anytime a procedure like this is taken for the means of changing a physical views is wrong in my eyes. God created us to be imperfect people and we must accept that. Our imperfections are what make us perfect to the eye of God. Procedures like this is against my religious views unless they are being performed for health reasons only.
However, as we like to do here, even though we do not agree with the procedure, we do believe in providing everyone with the best resources. Do your search on non invasive liposuction and you will be able to find many resources that can help you decide on whether this would be a good procedure or not.
